Georgia Primary Bank was formed by a diverse group of business and civic leaders in the Atlanta market to serve the financial needs of businesses and individuals in this area. Our Board of Directors and management team have an excellent understanding of the needs of our community and share the commitment to deliver superior service to all of our customers.

  • Carlos “Charles” Asensio

    Mr. Asensio holds a B.S. from Temple University and an M.A. from Rowen University. He moved to Georgia during 1980 while working with the United States Department of Labor, Employment & Training Administration. In 1982, he founded Human Resources, Inc. (HRI), a tax incentive consulting firm specializing in tax credit based employment and training initiatives. During 1997, he merged HRI with SMS Management Services of South Carolina and became managing partner of the Atlanta office. SMS was purchased by ADP Tax Credit services in 2003. He is the former chairman of the Perdue Latino Commission for a New Georgia. Mr. Asensio served as a director of the Federal Home Loan Bank, Atlanta, Georgia from 2002 through 2004. During his tenure, he served as a member of the Finance and Audit Committee and vice chaired the Government Relations Committee. read more

  • David Howard Flint

    David Flint is a founder of Schreeder, Wheeler & Flint, LLP, an Atlanta law firm. He represents clients in antitrust, first amendment problems, land use and zoning, eminent domain, construction claims, white collar crime investigations, and complex business disputes. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association and frequently serves as an arbitrator and mediator. Mr. Flint is on the Board of Directors of several business and civic organizations, including the American Opportunity Foundation, the Arnold Foundation, the Atlanta Law School Foundation, the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation, the Center for the Visually Impaired, the George West Mental Health Foundation, Georgia Primary Bank, Georgia State University Foundation, Prevent Blindness Georgia, the Shepherd Center and Westside Bank (Chairman). Mr. Flint is married to the former Sandra Lee Love and has two sons – one an attorney and the other a real estate developer – who both live in Atlanta, and four grandchildren. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree (with distinction) in 1967 from West Georgia College (now the University of West Georgia) in Carrollton, Georgia, and a Juris Doctorate degree (first honor graduate) in 1971 from Emory University. read more

  • Ramzanali Karimi

    Ramzanali Karimi has 35 years of experience in real estate, oil & gas industries. Mr. Karimi is the Founder, Chairman, & CEO of M2Z2 COM, Inc. and Georgia Commercial Stores, Inc in Georgia; M2Z2, LLC in Tennessee; and Tunica Properties, LLC, in Mississippi.

    Ramzanali Karimi has 35 years of experience in real estate, oil & gas industries. Mr. Karimi is the Founder, Chairman, & CEO of M2Z2 COM, Inc. and Georgia Commercial Stores, Inc in Georgia; M2Z2, LLC in Tennessee; and Tunica Properties, LLC, in Mississippi. Mr. Karimi currently serves as Director for United Cellular, a preferred Sprint dealer which has over 90 locations in 11 states. Mr. Karimi has acquired, developed and managed over 100 gas stations, office buildings, shopping centers, and land development projects in over 5 states and 3 countries including Canada, Costa Rica & India. Mr. Karimi has a long history of philanthropy and community service internationally. In 2003, Mr. Karimi graciously donated a women's residence building to the Aga Khan University Hospital in Pakistan. Presently, he sits on the Advisory Board of The Atlanta Retailers Association, a for-profit organization with over 900 members.   • Michael Miller

    Mr. Miller received a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Georgia. Mr. Miller is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia. In 1983, he founded Miller Management, Inc. a real estate acquisition and management company which he still owns. Mr. Miller’s recent construction and management projects include several shopping centers in the Atlanta area. Mr. Miller is an active restaurant operator and owner including Arena Tavern in Gwinnett County. Mr. Miller currently serves as president of the Southeastern Region of the Jewish National Fund. read more

  • H. Boyd Pettit, III

    Mr. Pettit, the designated chairman of Georgia Primary Bank received a Bachelor of Science degree from West Georgia College and a Doctor of Juris Prudence degree from Woodrow Wilson College of Law. Mr. Pettit is a member of the State of Georgia Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in the Superior Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Since 1993, he has also associated with the GeorgiaLink Public Affair Group, LLC, Atlanta, Georgia, where he serves as a government affairs lobbyist. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Pettit was elected to the Georgia Assembly as a State Representative in 1983. He served for five consecutive terms. Mr. Pettit was also chairman of First Community Bank and Trust in Cartersville, Georgia from its founding in 1988 until it was sold in 1996. read more

  • Mark Scheinfeld

    Mr. Scheinfeld received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University and a Masters of Business Administration certificate from Georgia State University and a Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School. Mr. Scheinfeld is a licensed attorney and is in private practice. Mr. Scheinfeld is also a real estate investor, builder and developer. He is the president and owner of both SCC Construction, Inc. which he founded in 1976, and SCC Atlanta Inc., which he founded in 1984. Mr. Scheinfeld serves on the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust, the Secretary of State’s Putting Georgia First, and the Chattahoochee River Basin Advisory Council. read more

  • Elmer Smith

    Mr. Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Morehead State University. He began his professional career as a high school business teacher. After three years, He was president of Southern Ohio College for nine years. In 1986, he came to Atlanta as president of Akers Computerized Learning Centers, one of the nation's pioneers in computer-based training. He acquired the institution in 1986 and changed the name to Interactive College of Technology/Interactive Learning Systems, Inc. Today the junior college serves over 5,000 students per year from more than 120 countries. Mr. Smith has served on numerous boards/organizations. He served on the Morehead State University Foundation Board from 2002-2007, where he and his wife Donna (now deceased) endowed the College of business Chair for Computer Information Systems. He currently serves on the Tau Kappa Epsilon Foundation Board of Directors where he has endowed the Donna and Elmer Smith TKE Southeast Leadership Conference, aiding young TKE men to develop and enhance their leadership skills. In May 2011, Morehead State University awarded Mr. Smith with an Honorary Doctorate in Education Degree. He is also active in accreditation and regulatory matters relating to the private career school industry. read more

  • McKinley “Mack” Wilbourn, Jr.

    .Mr. Wilbourn attended the University of Arizona where he majored in Public Administration.  In 1971, Mr. Wilbourn along with a colleague became one of the first minority McDonald’s Hamburger franchises in the Atlanta area.  By 1992, he sold the operation and pursued joint business opportunities as a managing consultant with the Rouse Corporation (Underground Atlanta), and Service America Corporation (Fulton County Jail Foodservice).  Since 1996, he has owned and operated several franchise units including two Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits, Edy’s Ice Cream, and a Checkers Hamburger at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  In addition to his restaurant interests, Mr. Wilbourn is the managing partner of MWJ, LLC, a vending company in Atlanta, Georgia which manages the Coca Cola vending locations throughout the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Six Flags Over Georgia. read more
